My friend Tye was in town last night so we got to hang out and talk about a couple of new business ideas. He has me excited about some of them and I hope things work out for him! He ended up crashing at my place and we stayed up late watching Family Guy and talking about photography equipment.

Come morning I woke up and went to pick up my friend Tres and his dog Sophie. We went to Gasworks park to do a photoshoot for Sophie. It's really surprisingly difficult to do a photoshoot for an animal – they don't take direction well, and like licking the lens. After that we got to come back to my place to go through photos and get two of them ready for print. After we took a CD of the images to Ivey we headed over to Glazers so I could buy a much needed reflector. Today's shoot would have gone a lot better if I had something easier to use as a reflector in the natural lighting.

I've been thinking a lot of late about MP3 players and I'm considering getting an ipod mini. I'm not sure about the idea of getting an MP3 player that does not have user replaceable batteries, but they are so small and cute that I might not be able to resist. There are a couple of interesting new players being announced now at CeBIT in Germany so I'll have to wait for it to get over and look at what's coming before I make my decision. Anyone have a suggestion?

lmao! does anyone buy your prints, or has anyone yet, there so over priced. I would love to purchase a couple but some of them are close to $70 and its not worth it. I would be willing to pay $20 for a picure of a street and maybe $15 for those green phone number things.

So far DeviantPrints has been a waste of my time and I have not sold any prints through that. Those are my standard prices and I've sold a number through other channels. As a photographer you have to value your own work and stand up to not only recoup your time value, but also the depreciation on the equipment that I buy...

The very concept of existence is surreal. To be able to understand it, would cause you to first lose yourself in the concept of what is.
